A Caution On Offshore Investing
I'm sure you don't need to be reminded, but I sure do.
A primary Speculation Rule:
No one cares more about your money than you do, unless they plan on stealing your money.
If you go offshore it gets even worse, if that is possible.
Other countries have other laws, giving you two headaches, and crooks two sources of leverage.
Offshore investing is worth it in terms of protecting your assets, just be sure to follow reasonable defenses offshore.
The standard rules apply, don't give extra information, use quality referrals, get second and third opinions, and others.
I would add one more.
Start small.
Trust your referred adviser with just a bit and see how he handles it. Grow the amount trusted to them slowly.
Use several advisers in several locations, diversification protects wealth.

Your knowledge and your experience are both important wealth protectors - grow them as quickly as possible.

Alternatively people could pay their taxes, the accountants and auditors be held accountable and the avarage UK taxpayer would benifit by not getting shafted by all the indirect taxes they have to levy to compensate.
Sorry I'm living in Britain the asset economy, silly me I'll get with the programme.

Offshore does not always save on taxes, but it still has value.
In those cases where taxes are saved - it is their money - folks can choose to give all of it to the government if they so choose.
The average taxpayer can also take advantage of offshore if they wish, many do.
The UK has been a favorite offshore center for the rest of the EU, benefiting Britannia.
